The head of the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers press-service, Akif Ali, has announced that the annual, March 20-24, Novruz public holidays would be extended by 2 days this year, Thursday and Friday, March 25 and 26, 2010.
Today's announcement confirms what we had surmised when the official list of 2010 public holidays was released (27-Nov-2009), as such extensions have been common in the past (27-Feb-2009, 08-Mar-2008 and 07-Mar-2007).
