Following a meeting at the Religious Affairs Department in Jakarta, the government of Indonesia announced that the upcoming Idul Adha public holiday would be on Wednesday, November 17, 2010.
The aforementioned announcement is in line with last summer's decree designating public holidays and collective leave days for 2010 (09-Aug-2009).
Note that, as is often the case (12-Oct-2007), Muhammadiyah, Indonesia’s second biggest Islamic organization has decided to celebrate the upcoming Idul Adha a day earlier.
