The government of Kyrgyzstan has declared Monday, February 22, 2010, as a one-off non-working bridge public holiday, to link the weekend with the annual, February 23, Homeland Defenders' Day public holiday.
As per custom (11-Dec-2009, 19-Dec-2008 and 27-Dec-2007), this extra non-working public holiday will be compensated by the government of Kyrgyzstan having also declared Saturday, February 20, 2010, as regular working day.
