The Maldives' President's Office has released a press release confirming that Saturday, November 27, 2010, would be a regular working day.
Late last month (21-Oct-2010), the President of the Maldives, Mohamed Nasheed, had declared Sunday, November 14, 2010, as a one-off public holiday, to be compensated by Saturday, November 27, 2010, being declared a regular working day.
A few days later (26-Oct-2010), the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) has announced that it, and all banks in the Maldives, would remain closed from Thursday, November 11, until Saturday, November 20, 2010, inclusively.
