Oman's Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court and Chairman of the Civil Service Council, Sayyid Ali bin Hamoud al Busaidy, has announced a day in lieu public holiday on Saturday, February 27, 2010.
A similar announcement was made by Oman's Minister of Manpower, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nassir al Bakri, for the Omani private sector.
As such, both the private and public sectors will extend their weekend from Friday, February 26, for another day, Saturday, February 27, 2010, with work resuming on Sunday, February 28, 2010.
