The Chief Minister of Pakistan's Province of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, has declared a regional public holiday on 11 Rabi-ul-Awal (Friday, February 26, 2010).

Recall that the next day, Saturday, February 27, 2010, was recently announced as the official date for the upcoming Prophet's Birthday national public holiday (19-Feb-2010).

Pakistan's Province of Sindh often declares regional public holidays that extend the main Muslim national public holidays by one day. In particular, the day before the Prophet's Birthday public holiday was also declared a regional public holiday in Sindh in 2008 (15-Mar-2008).
