The Government of Australia's Northern Territory has gazetted Sunday, January 1, 2012, as a additional public holiday, in addition to the 2012, January 2, day in lieu public holiday on the following Monday.
The afprementioned additional public holiday was gazetted in the "Government Gazette No. S63, 7 November 2011" as was, recently (11-Nov-2011), the December 25, 2011, public holiday.
