Cambodia's Prime Minister has signed a Royal Government's decree establishing Cambodia's list of official non-working public holidays for the calendar year 2012.

As per custom (03-Sep-2010, 25-Aug-2009, 22-Sep-2008 and 03-Aug-2007), the aforementioned decree (Cambodian Royal Government's sub-decree Nş 231, holidays for government's and private company's officers) stipulates that "[for] any public holidays which overlap with either Saturday or Sunday, the following Monday will be substituted".

The list of official public holidays for 2012 in Cambodia once again includes the new public holiday, on June 1st, 2011, "International and Cambodian Children's Day" which was introduced last year (03-Sep-2010).
