The Chief Minister of the Isle of Man, Tony Brown, has announced that he would refer the recent proposal as to whether the Island should introduce an additional national public holiday to the Council of Ministers Governance Committee for consideration.
The issue about having a Manx bank holiday was raised in the House of Keys by Isle of Man's North Douglas MHK, Bill Henderson (22-Mar-2011).
