The government of Moldova has released the official list of non-working public holidays in Moldova for the upcoming calendar year 2012.
As usual, the aforementioned initial list of non-working public holidays in Moldova for the upcoming calendar year 2012 does not include any bridge public holidays which are usually announced later, on a case-by-case basis (18-Feb-2011, 10-Aug-2010, 04-Dec-2009 and 10-Dec-2008) to be compensated by a nearby Saturday being declared a regular working day in Moldova.
In 2012, we can expect bridge public holidays to be declared on Friday, March 9, 2012, and on Monday, April 30, 2012.
It is also possible, though less likely in our opinion, that a bridge public holiday will be declared on Monday, December 24, 2012, to link the recently-created, December 25, annual public holiday (15-Apr-2010 and 04-Dec-2009) with the nearby weekend.
