Mongolian Amends Naadam Public Holidays

The Cabinet of the Government of Mongolia has approved the declaration of Thursday and Friday, July 14 and 15, 2011, as one-off non-working public holidays in Mongolia, to link the upcoming Naadam annual public holidays with the following weekend.

As per the aforementioned cabinet announcement, the declaration of Thursday and Friday, July 14 and 15, 2011, as one-off non-working public holidays in Mongolia, will be compensated by Saturday and Sunday, July 9 and 10, 2011, having also been declared a regular working days in Mongolia.

According to local sources, the decision was made to better commemorate this year's 90th anniversary of the People's Revolution as well as the 805th anniversary of the Mongol State.
