The Head of Service of Nigeria's State Government of Kebbi, Mohammed Bello, has declared tomorrow, Monday, March 14, 2011, as a one-off state public holiday to honour President Jonathan, who is visiting the state that day.

According to the statement, released earlier today, Governor Saidu Dakingari has approved the work-free day. Similar state public holidays were declared last fall (21-Oct-2010 and 08-Oct-2010) in Bayelsa State and in the Plateau State.
