Zimbabwe's Secretary for Media, Information and Publicity, George Charamba, has announced that the Cabinet of Zimbabwe had decided to declare Tuesday, December 27, 2011, as an additional one-off non-working public holiday throughout Zimbabwe.
As per the aforementioned announcement, "the declaration of Tuesday as a holiday is meant to compensate for Christmas Day that falls on Sunday", while Monday, December 26, 2011, is already a non-working public holiday as per last year's announcement of the official list of 2011 public holidays in Zimbabwe (01-Oct-2010).
