Bolivian President, Evo Morales, has announced that the Bolivian government was considering the declaration of a one-off non-working public holiday to coincide with the upcoming day of consultation (Día de Consulta) tentatively scheduled for the end of November 2012.
Last summer (30-Jun-2012), and after many aborted attempts (14-Sep-2009, 11-May-2009, 26-Jun-2009, 30-Jul-2009, and 24-Aug-2009), Bolivia's Minister of Planning and Development, Viviana Caro Hinojosa, had announced that the Bolivian government was considering the declaration of one-off non-working public holiday(s) during the upcoming national census (Censo Nacional de Población y Vivienda), which coincidentally, was then expected to take place in November or December 2012.
