The legislative assembly of Spain's autonomous region of Ceuta (Ilustre Pleno de !a Asamblea de Ceuta) has aproved the oficial list of 2013 non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in the Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta.
As per the aforementioned "RESOLUCIÓN de 25 de septiembre de 2012, de la Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta, por el que se aprueba el calendario laboral para el año 2013.", and as was done in the past (26-Sep-2011), there will be a one-off public holiday on January 7 and December 9, 2013, to compensate the fact that the previous day's annual public holiday falls on a Sunday in 2013.
In addition, the Feast of Sacrifice (Pascua del Sacrificio) Muslim public holiday , will once again (26-Sep-2011, 20-Sep-2011, 01-Nov-2010, and 23-Sep-2010) be an official non-working public holiday in Ceuta, its date having been set to October 16, 2013.
The October 16, 2013, date seems a bit late, as recent reports of the discussions underway for the establishment of the neighboring Melilla calendario laboral 2013 indicate that it will for its part declare October 15, 2013, as the date of the Feast of Sacrifice Muslim public holiday, leading to another case of neighboring regions differing on the date of this Muslim public holiday (06-Oct-2011 and 26-Sep-2011).
