(Posted on Tuesday, April 15, 2014)

Source: Official Gazette of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (Abuja)

The Minister of Interior of the Federal Government of Nigeria, Abba Moro, has announced that the Nigerian Government had declared Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, 2014, as non-working public holidays to commemorate this year's upcoming Good Friday and Easter Monday non-working public holidays, respectively.

The aforementioned declaration of Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, 2014, as non-working public holidays is in line with past declarations of Easter public holidays in Nigeria (26-Mar-2013, 31-Mar-2012, 20-Apr-2011 and 29-Mar-2010).
