(Posted on Monday, January 16, 2017)

Source: The Interim Transitional National Council (Tripoli)

Libya's government has released its official list of annual non-working public holidays in Libya for the upcoming calendar year 2017.

Once again (03-Jan-2016, 22-Dec-2014 and 11-Dec-2013), the aforementioned announcement of the official list of annual non-working public holidays in Libya for the upcoming calendar year 2017, is in line with the Libyan National Transitional Council overhaul of the official list of national non-working public holidays in Libya, announced early 5 years ago (08-Jan-2012) and the declaration the previous year that December 24 should be restored as an annual non-working public holiday in Libya, to mark Independence Day, effective immediately (22-Dec-2011).
