Source: Today - Summary: The spokesman for the Cabinet of Ministers, Akif Ali, has announced that the day of Monday, September 29, 2008, had been declared a one-off bridge public holiday, to link the weekend to the Ramazam Bayram (End of Ramadan) public holiday.
This announcement is as we had surmised would happen (our August 28, 2008, news update). However, as is usual in Azerbaijan, in compensation, Saturday, September 27, 2008 has been declared a regular working day.
