Honduras Moves Two Upcoming Public Holidays To Following Monday

Source: El Heraldo (Tegucigalpa) - Summary: Basing itself on the legislative decree 50-2003, Honduras' secretaría de Gobernación y Justicia has issued a directive moving the date of observance of 2 upcoming public holidays to the next Monday.

The October 3rd public holiday, marking the birthday of general Francisco Morazán, will be moved to Monday, October 6, 2008, while the October 21st Armed forces Day public holiday (día de las Fuerzas Armadas) will be moved to Monday, October 27, 2008. This directive applies to both the public and private sectors.
