Weekend Public Holidays: Public holidays that occur on a Sunday are moved to the following Monday.
Saturday is a half-working day for most of the Sultanate.
Other days that are observed but are not public holidays are:
Teachers' Day (September 23rd) and
Public Service Day (September 29th).
