announced that Haiti's President had issued an Executive Order (arrêté présidentiel) declaring Wednesday, March 1, 2017, had been declared as another non-working public holidays in Haiti to coincide Background Information

Governing Law: Official public holidays in Haïti are regulated by articles 107-119, in particular 110 and 111, of the Décret du 24 février 1984 actualisant le Code du travail du 12 septembre 1961 as modified by the Loi du jeudi 5 juin 2003 actualisant le Code du travail du 12 septembre 1961.  Working Holidays: The above-mentioned decrees and laws list some holidays as non-working (jours fériés chômés), and some as working holidays (jours fériés non chômés).
