Ghana's Ministry Food and Agriculture (MOFA) has announced that this year's Farmers' Day, which falls on November 10, would not be a statutory public holiday.
However, a statement issued by the public relations directorate of the ministry went on to state that the statutory public holiday for Farmers' Day will be on the first Friday of December, which is December 1st, in 2000.
