Angola Adds 4 New Public Holidays

Angola's parliament has approved the "Lei nº 7/03, de 21 de Março 2001",which adds 4 new annual public holidays in Angola.

These 4 new annual public holidays are: March 8 (International Women's Day); May 1 (International Workers' Day); May 25 (Africa Day); and June 1 (International Children's Day).

The aforementioned "Lei nº 7/03, de 21 de Março 2001" (27-Mar-2001) amends the current law on official public holidays in Angola, the "Lei 16/96 de Septiembre 27 de de 1996" (15-Dec-2006).
