Belarus Public Holiday July 2

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus has issued a decree declaring Monday, July 2, 2001, as a one-off non-working bridge public holiday in Belarus on account of the upcoming Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus annual non-working public holiday on Tuesday, July 3, 2001.

As usual in similar past cases (1998-03-13, 1997-11-17, 1996-12-20, 1996-12-06 and 1996-10-28), in compensation for the Monday, July 2, 2001, one-off non-working public holiday, the Decision of the Council of Ministers specifies that Saturday, July 7, 2001, will be a regular working day throughout the Republic of Belarus.
