Kazakhstan Declares April 30 Bridge Public Holiday

The Kazakh government information department has announced that Monday, April 30, 2001, had been declared a one-off bridge public holiday, to be observed jointly with the annual May 1st public holiday which falls on a Tuesday this year.
To compensate for the aforementioned additional public holiday, Saturday, April 28, 2001, has been declared a regular working day throughout Kazakhstan.
