Cayman Islands Postpones November 17 Elections But Maintains Public Holiday

The government of the Cayman Islands has announced that the upcoming November 17, 2004, general elections had been postponed due to the recent hurricane.

However, the public holiday associated with those elections has been maintained, and renamed the National day of Recovery.
