Dominica's Labor Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit, announced a public holiday of celebration for tomorrow, Friday, May 6, 2005.

This follows Prime Minister Skerrit's party winning a narrow victory in elections that focused on an IMF austerity program and a diplomatic switch from Taiwan to China.
