Ghana Declares January 2 Public Holiday

Government declares January 2 a public holiday. In view of the fact that Eid-Ul-Adha, a statutory public holiday, falls on Saturday December 30, President John Agyekum Kufuor has declared Tuesday, January 2, 2007 a public holiday.
