Nigeria Announces Id-El-Kabir Public Holidays Dates

The Federal Government, yesterday, declared Monday, October 23 and Tuesday, October 24, 2006, as Public Holidays to mark this year's Id-El-Kabir celebration, also known as Ramadan Festival (sic).

The celebration of this year's Id-El-Kabir by Muslim faithfuls, falls on Sunday and Monday. All financial institutions will also be closed from October 23 to October 24, 2006, inclusive.
