Transdniestria Adds New Public Holiday

On 27 December, the President of Pridnestrovie (PMR), Igor Smirnov, signed the law passed by the Supreme Soviet on 20 December, making January 2nd, every year, a non-working public holiday.

The aforementioned law comes into effect as of January 1st, 2007.
