The outgoing Governor of the US Virgin Islands, Charles W. Turnbull, has declared Tuesday, November 21, 2006, as a one-off non-working public holiday in the US Virgin Islands.

As per the aforementioned announcement, Tuesday, November 21, 2006, will be a one-off non-working public holiday in the US Virgin Islands due to the need to hold a run-off gubernatorial election between Kenneth Mapp and John P. de Jongh. Jr.
