Guatemala Declares One-Off Public Holiday On September 10

The President of Guatemala, Oscar Berger, announced, earlier today, that he had declared Monday, September 10, 2007, as a one-off public holiday to compensate people for traveling back, often far, to their place of electoral registration, for the Presidential and Legislative elections on the day before.
