Armenia Declares July 20 Public Holiday

The government of Armenia has declared Monday, July 20, 2009, as a one-off public holiday on account of the Armenian religious festival of Vardavar (Transfiguration of Jesus Christ).

As was done in similar cases in the past (2008-06-26), in compensation, Saturday, July 18, 2009, will be a regular working day.
