Indonesia Presidential Election Public Holiday Likely On July 9

Indonesia's General Election Commission (KPU) member, Andi Nurpati, has said that the upcoming Presidential Election will probably occur on Thursday, July 9, 2009.

Based on historical patterns (30-Mar-2004), the date of the upcoming Presidential Election is expected to be declared a one-off public holiday in Indonesia.
