Nigeria's Niger State Government has declared three days of mourning following the death of Maryam Babangida who is expected to be buried in Minna on Wednesday.
During these 3 days, all flags will fly at half mast, but a statement issued by Nigeria's Information and Communication Commissioner, Baba Barau, pointed-out that the 3-day mourning period is not to be taken as public holidays by civil servants.
