Once again, Paraguay's religious and civil organizations are asking the government to restore as a full annual public holiday, the date of February 3, San Blas, the patron saint of Paraguay.

Calls to restore the February 3 public holiday, have become somewhat of an annual tradition (2006-02-04), ever since the San Blas public holiday was dropped from the list of official public holidays in Paraguay in 1995.
