Zambia Refutes June 23 Public Holiday

Zambia's Secretary to the Cabinet, Joshua Kanganja, has issued a statement saying that, despite earlier reports, June 23rd, 2009, will be a normal working day.

Secretary Kanganja was responding to reports in Friday's Daily Mail newspaper stating that Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009, Africa Service Day, would be a non-working public holiday (2009-06-12).
