Antigua and Barbuda's Attorney General, Justin Simon, has issued a statement clarifying the dates of upcoming additional year-end public holidays in Antigua and Barbuda.
In the aforementioned, quasi-annual (2009-12-07), statement, the Attorney General announces that Monday, December 27, 2010, has been officially declared as a public holiday, in lieu of Christmas Day, which falls on a Saturday in 2010.
However, the statement goes on to point out that Monday, January 3, 2011, will not be a public holiday, as per the terms of the "Public Holidays (Amendment) Act, 2005" (2005-09-15).
