Macau Declares Additional 2011 Public Holidays

Macau's Chief Executive has announced 4 additional, one-off, public holidays (Special Grant for exempt from work by The Chief Executive) for 2011.

These 4 additional public holidays in 2011 will be : February 2 (afternoon only), May 2, October 3, and December 26, 2011.

This announcement, follows a trend started a few years ago (2009-06-30, 2009-03-27, 2004-05-21, 2006-01-16, 2007-01-31, and 2007-03-13), and was made under the purview of the "Decree Law No. 60/2000 on Public Holidays".
