The Consejo de Gobierno de la Comunidad de Madrid has published the list of 2011 public holidays in Spain's Autonomous Comunidad de Madrid.

For the 3rd year in a row (2009-10-07 and 2008-09-26), Corpus Christi will be one of the regional public holidays of the autonomous community of Madrid. This public holiday had not been celebrated in the Madrid community since 1985 (it used to be a national public holiday throughout Spain until 1975).

Interestingly, Corpus Christi was declared as one of the official 2011 regional public holidays of Spain's Autonomous Región of Castilla La-Mancha (2010-09-01).
