Niger's Conseil Suprême pour la Restauration de la Démocratie has announced that Friday, November 26, 2010, had been declared a one-off public holiday on the occasion of the promulgation of the new constitution.
As per the communiqué, "la journée du vendredi 26 novembre a été déclarée fériée, chômée et payée sur toute l'étendue du territoire nigérien", on account of the "promulgation de la Constitution de la 7ème République", whose referendum date was also declared a one-off public holiday last year (2009-08-03).
