Andhra Pradesh Declares April 27 Public Holiday

The Chief Minister of India's State of Andhra Pradesh, N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, has declared Wednesday, April 27, 2011, as a one-off state public holiday on account of the last rites of spiritual leader Sathya Sai Baba on that day.

In a later announcement, the Governor of India's State of Sikkim, B P Singh, also declared Wednesday, April 27, 2011, as a one-off state public holiday.
