The Djibouti Presidency has once again issued a decree ("Décret N°2011-065/PRE déclarant la journée du 08 mai 2011, fériée, chômée et payée.") making the date of the upcoming investiture of recently re-elected President Ismail Omar Guelleh, Sunday, May 8, 2011, a one-off non-working public holiday in Djibouti.

Recall that, on the occasion of the preceding inauguration of the same President Ismail Omar Guelleh, the government of Djibouti had similarly declared Saturday, May 7, 2005, as a one-off public holiday to coincide with that investiture (2005-05-05).

Sundays are working days in Djibouti.
