Kuwait's Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Ali Al-Rashid, has announced that at yesterday's meeting, the Kuwaiti Cabinet had decided to declare Wednesday and Thursday, November 9 and 10, 2011, as additional non-working public holidays at all ministries and state departments.
Last year (2010-11-09), the Kuwaiti Cabinet has declared Sunday, November 14, 2010, as an additional bridge public holiday to link the preceding weekend with the upcoming Eid al-Adha public holidays with the result that all government offices, ministries and banks in Kuwait were closed for nine days, from Friday, November 12, to Saturday, November 20, 2010.
