Macedonia's Ministry of Labor and Social Policy has announced that Tuesday, August 2, 2011, would be an official non-working public holiday for all citizens of Macedonia.

The above is in line with the Macedonian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy's official list of 2011 public holidays in Macedonia, as published last fall (2010-10-22), and, more generally with the 2007 Bill on Amending the Law on State Holidays (2007-02-08).
