Macedonia Declares May 2 Public Holiday

The government of Macedonia has announced that Monday, May 2, 2011, would be a non-working public holiday due to the annual May 1st Labour Day public holiday falling on a Sunday in 2011.

The aforementioned announcement follows on the heels of the recent (2011-04-19) announcement by Macedonia's Ministry of Labour and Social Policy of the scope of the upcoming April 22 and April 25, 2011, public holidays.
