Macedonia's Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has announced that Wednesday, December 21, 2011, would be a non-working public holiday for members of the Turkish community in Macedonia on account of the upcoming Day of the teaching of Turkish annual sectorial non-working public holiday.
The above is in line with the Macedonian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy's official list of 2011 public holidays in Macedonia, as published last fall (2010-10-22), and, more generally with the Law on Holidays of the Republic of Macedonia (Official Gazette, and br.21/98 7.18) as last amended in 2007 (2007-02-08).
