US Virgin Islands 2011-2012 Year-End Public Holidays

The Governor of the US Virgin Islands, John P. de Jongh, Jr., has declared year-end public sector holidays for December 2011 and January 2012.

As per the aforementioned announcement, US Virgin Islands nonessential government employees will get the afternoon of December 24 and 31, 2011, off, as well as January 3 and 7.

The announcement of additional year-end public sector holidays is a staple of the US Virgin Islands'' calendar of non-working public holidays (2010-12-28, 2006-12-21, 2005-12-06, 2004-12-22, 2003-12-17, and 2002-12-16).
