The Corporate Manager in the Deputy Governor's Office of the Cayman Islands, Christine Wright, has released a confirmed listing of 2013 non-working public holidays in the Cayman Islands, barring the actual date of the public holiday for Her Majesty the Queen's birthday, for which official confirmation is awaited.

As was the case in past years (2010-07-04 and 2009-03-20), but not last year (2011-06-25), the aforementioned announcement specifies that the official date of the Queen's Birthday public holiday in 2013 is "to be confirmed".

The aforementioned listing of 2013 non-working public holidays in the Cayman Islands was gazetted under an Elections Office Notification as expected holidays, due to its inclusion of a one-off public holiday on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, on account of the elections scheduled for that date.
