Dominica Hurricane Public Holiday August 22

Dominica's Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit, has announced that tomorrow, Wednesday, August 22, 2012, would be a one-off non-working public holiday in Dominica on account of the approaching tropical storm Isaac.

Technically, in Dominica, a public holiday can only be proclaimed by the President, as was done a few years ago (2009-09-02), but the Prime Minister of Dominica has in the past, such as last year, declared "no work" or "go home early" days which amount to the same thing.
